LALIN
We were given a task to edit a footage made by seniors, according to the
original video of "Lalin". We have to cut, insert graphic, and arrange the
video into a 35-second video clip.
First thing I did was downloading the footage and the graphic by seniors
and export it to premiere pro.

I add dissolving effect at the beginning to create a smooth start. I also
add text graphic with the ringtone.

In the storyboard there will be a disappearing effect, to make that, I stack
two video and then cut it and then apply the disolve effect in the
middle.

Color Correction & grading
To start with, we should do these three steps:
Fig 3.4: Preparing the Premiere Pro, Week 7 (04/06/2025).
First, change the workspace to Color. Then, drag the Comparison View tool. After that, check the Parade and Waveform (Luma) in Lumetri Scopes.
After done preparing, start color correcting first to adjust the exposure, contrast, shadow, and etc. Make sure to check the Lumetri Scopes to compare the graded footage with the other clip and match them accordingly.

Final Outcome
EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE
Pre-production
We were given a task to shoot a scene from Everything Everywhere All at Once and create a trailer from the footage. So, we were divided into two groups and help each other to shoot the all the scene.
We divided the task and began choosing the production crew. I became the assistant director, which means I'm responsible for handling the schedule and creating the storyboard. As the second assistant director, I also help the first assistant director ensure the shoot runs smoothly and stays on schedule, as well as making sure the DOP, lighting, and sound departments are fully prepared.

Production
We shot the scene according to the time and schedule we had planned. Below is some of the documentation we captured during the shooting process:

After we finished the shoot, we transferred the footage from the camera and selected the "ok" takes together, along with the sound.

Post Production
This is the part where I edited all the footage we had already shot—starting with creating the trailer, searching for the right background sound, and then doing color correction and grading.
First, I exported all the footage and synced the audio using merge. After all the audio was synced, I started cutting the footage I wanted to use and added black screens to insert the text for the trailer.

After I got the footage I wanted, I started searching for a background song that matched the tension and mood of the trailer.

I decided to add subtitles to make the conversation clearer.

After I finished editing all the footage and putting it together with the sound, I started doing the color correction and grading.
Final Outcome
3. Feedback
the overall clips need to be adjusted more and make it quite similar using the basic correction and all.
4. Reflection
It was fun to work on this project. I learned a lot and gained valuable insights. I learned how to use Premiere Pro, how the production process works, and how to collaborate in a team. Mr. Martin taught us well, and I was able to understand and follow the lectures. Overall, I would love to work on a project like this again in the future.
