2.1 Audio - Sound for Visual
We were given a task to make a sound dubbing for a short clip from movie
"Everything Everywhere, all at once". We need to search the sound effect,
record our own dubbing for the dialogue, and ambience sound for the clip.
Below is the spreadsheet we made for all the sound effect:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13pQkUnssZQb3qqXe45WIc_xf86VtISHNhoUPAyVVIIk/edit?gid=0#gid=0
After we compile all the sound we needed, We started to edit it on Premiere
Pro in class. Mr. Martin shows us the demo first how to use pitch shifter and
audio transition.

After I export the video, I made a new audio track. Then, I export all the
audio needed, and try to match it with the video. After I match it, I edit the
audio with pitch shifter for the male voice and set the volume for each
sound.
Final Outcome
2.2 Audio - Sound Shaping
We need to create four different types of audio using Adobe
Audition.
1. Phone call
2. Voice from inside the closet (muffled voice)
1. Phone call
2. Voice from inside the closet (muffled voice)
3. Underground sound
4. Alien
First, record 10 seconds of yourself speaking in your mother tongue. Next, open Adobe Audition and import the recorded audio. Then, create a new multitrack session to produce the four different versions of the audio. Once the session is set up, drag the audio into one of the tracks.

After that, we can edit the audio using the Effects Rack. There, we can
apply various effects to produce each version of the sound.

3. Feedback
Add more ambience for people screaming or running. The overall is already
good.
4. Reflection
This project taught us more about editing and adding sound in Premiere Pro.
From audio effects to audio shaping, we learned how to create effective
background sound for film. I personally learned to use many tools in
Premiere Pro and gained a lot of knowledge from the experience.
