WEEK 11 (3/12/24)
First i made a biography of myself

i create mood board to explore about what i want for my self titled poster

I made a sketch out of it

after consultation with Mr. Fauzi he accepted the sketch and i started to digitalize it. I use some picture that i took and tried to cut it out and made a bunch of elements.

I cut out all the elements and start to collage it. I adjust the color for some elements and add a solid color for the background.

I started making the typography for my quotes which is "music speaks"

WEEK 12 (10/12/24)
After some consultation with Mr. Fauzi, i need some adjustment for the typography. I adjust the typography for "speaks" and i adjust the size of the poster to 1080 x 1920 px (I.G reel/ story size).

Title : Music Speaks
Artist Statement :
I made this poster to represent my love to music, the music instruments that I chose are the one that I like and enjoy playing the most. The vinyl plate that I hold and the player in the bottom represent how I love listening to music. I add some flowers means there’s a flower bloom when music speaks and it tells my heart when playing music.

After i finalize my poster i began to made my animation for the poster.

For animation, i'm using scale, positions, and opacity for the flowers. I also added a background music.

Artist statement :
Music always been my joy in life, I want to represent how much I love music with me surrounded by music and a flower bloom behind it. The music instrument around are the music that i like and enjoy playing the most.

REFLECTION
Doing this assignment was so much fun, especially for animation in after effects. Self-titled poster for assignment was such a good idea, because we can express ourself through poster. Making the poster both in illustrator and photoshop made me realize i already learn so much this past semester. I hope my poster represent myself enough.
